About the home

Welcome to our family home, with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths along with plenty of storage, peaceful farm views and fast WiFi.

Forget your worries in this spacious, serene and private space. With two kings, two queens, a twin and a crib, there is plenty of room for everyone. Relax on the back porch, grill on the BBQ or chill out at the fire pit — or cook in our large, well-equipped kitchen, watch Netflix, play board games with the family, or use the desk space and fast WiFi to get some work done.

We're in the country with no stores within walking distance. Instacart delivers here, and Clinton has a Foodland and Dollarama.

Free parking in front of the house on the laneway. Please let us know how many vehicles will be with your group.

On checkout, please put garbage in the black-topped bin and recycling in the blue-topped bin. For longer stays, pickup is early Tuesday morning — bins can be set on the opposite side of Stone School Line on Monday night, or we can take them out for you.

The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper, cooking oil and some condiments — please feel free to use them. Our water is safe to drink, but if you prefer, there is bottled water in the fridge. If anything is missing, running out or not working properly, please let us know and we'll fix it right away.

The in-floor heat and natural gas furnace thermostats are on the living room wall, along with the air conditioner controls. Portable heaters and fans are in the downstairs and upstairs linen closets.

TCC (Tuckersmith) fibre optic internet. The TV is a Smart TV and we provide Netflix for our guests — you can also sign into your own streaming apps. Network name and password are in your welcome binder and sent with your check-in code. If you have any internet issues, please let us know right away.

Board games are in the main floor master bedroom closet. A fire extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.

If you need an early bag drop, please reach out — it can usually be arranged. There's an electronic lock on the front door; the code is sent the morning of check-in. If you have any trouble with the lock, please let us know.

This is a working farm — there may be large equipment coming and going. Please keep a close eye on children, and please do not enter the barn or large driving shed.

The entire home is yours except for the locked room upstairs off the master bedroom.

Our goats (Molly and Margo) and calves (Beatrice and Lactancia) are in the fenced area beside the barn — touch base with us for details on how to safely access their food.

​Enjoy our firepit. There is one bag of firewood in the wooden shed and kindling sticks beside it. Please extinguish the fire with the garden hose before leaving. Extra fold-up camping chairs hang in the garden shed and there are some outdoor games in there as well.

The BBQ lights with a push button; tools are in the large drawer beside the fridge. Please clean the BBQ after use and shut off the propane.

Gather used towels and either put in the shower or pop down the laundry chute. The washer/dryer is yours to use during your stay.

Please load dirty dishes into the dishwasher, add a pod and start a wash cycle.

Empty and dispose of used food items in the fridge.

Gather garbage and place it in the black-lidded bin out back.

If any furniture was moved, please return it to its original spot.

Leave the patio tidy and make sure the BBQ is scraped if used.
